US investigation of cable car accident starts

United States military investigators have begun their inquiry into the accident at a ski resort in northern Italy on Tuesday. Twenty people were killed after a low-flying US military jet cut the wire holding their cable-car. A high-ranking US officer has denied Italian claims that the aircraft had strayed off course before the incident, saying the pilot had extensive experience in flying the plane.
